Workflow Management
Tracking of discovery data from initial notification through production.
Administrators can create workflows and assign workflows on a matter-by-matter basis. Workflows can be created on the fly or from user-defined templates.
Automated email notifications can be sent to team members participating in any desired workflow steps
Litigation Holds
Litigation holds are based on user-defined templates. There is no limit on the number of templates and they can be public or private.
Issue litigation holds to individuals, groups, by specific criteria, or to all custodians for a matter. The email is time and date stamped when it is sent and upon it's acknowledgement, in compliance with federal rules.
Reminder notices are sent at user-definable time increments
Escalation of non-acknowledged preservation notices is based on a user-definable time frame specified for each hold.
Users can track holds from first notification to acknowledgement through escalation and final recission.
Reports for active holds, hold activity, non-acknowledgement and multiple holds per custodian
Physical Evidence
Discovery Agent provides a detailed chain of custody logging.

Platforms
Discovery Agent is available three ways:
Software as a Service (SaaS): allows customers with a small number of matters, firewall issues with their partners, challenging IT environments, or those that wish the ease of Software as a Service (SaaS) to use Discovery Agent.
Software License: deploy Discovery Agent in your environment utilizing your existing hardware. Deployment and integration can be performed by Digital Strata Professional Services.
Discovery Agent Appliance: the appliance bundles the Discovery Agent application, operating system, support software on a server. Drop-in a ready to run application into your environment. (Human resource data requires integration with your HR application.)
