DIGITAL DISCOVERY SPECIALIST

Digital Strata is looking for a Digital Discovery Specialist to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area. To be successful in this position, you should have the ability to convey complex processes to technical and non-technical individuals. This position is ideally suited for an individual who is quick to learn, likes to be rewarded for diligent hard work, is well-rounded, and possesses exceptional interpersonal skills.

Successful candidates will have experience in the following areas:

  • Knowledge of litigation support field and EDRM methodologies
  • Knowledge or experience with current e-discovery tools, such as Relativity, Recommind Axcelerate, Clearwell, Kazeon, and/or Nuix
  • Knowledge of collection methodologies and tools, backup systems, and chain of custody
  • Ability to provide recommendations and work with the team to determine end-to-end litigation support strategy for individual cases or for clients in general
  • Project management skills, including budgets, timelines, purchasing, goal planning, status reporting, setting expectations, and communicating results
  • Direct supervision of support team, including mentoring, training, and oversight
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to respond to urgent client requests within very tight timelines

Best qualified candidates will also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field, but preference for a degree in the legal field·     
  • At least 2 years working in litigation support, litigation technology, e-discovery, or similar
